Have you
ever wondered where you would go after you die? The answer is found in the
person of Jesus Christ. The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the
world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Friend,
the simple truth is that God loves you so much that He became a man so
that He could die in your place. Now the question is, why would God have
to die for you? The answer is again found in the Bible. Romans 3:23 says,
"For all have sinned…" which simply means that nobody is perfect.
Romans
6:23a says, "The wages of sin is death…" which is simply telling you and
me that we have a BIG problem. Because of our sinfulness, or
imperfections, we fall short of what it takes to get into Heaven, and we
are separated from God. In other words, there is no way we can get to
Heaven on our own! For this reason, God became man (Jesus Christ) and
completely paid for your sins when He died on the cross. Three days later,
He rose again from the dead to prove that He was God, and made the way for
us to have eternal life.
Romans
6:23b says, "…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ…"
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has purchased eternal life for
you! Friend, whether or not you spend eternity in Heaven, depends on
whether or not you will confess to God that you are a sinner, and accept
God’s free gift of salvation.
Romans
10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved." Simply put, if you will personally ask Jesus Christ to save you
and give you His gift of eternal life… He will! Why don’t you make this
simple decision right now? It makes all the difference in the world… and
in eternity.
Call on
the Lord now… "Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and that I deserve
eternal punishment in hell. I turn from my sin, and turn to Your payment
for my sin on the cross. I accept your gift of eternal life. Thank you for
saving me from hell, thank you for the gift of eternal life. Amen."
If you
called upon the Lord, please contact us so that we may rejoice with you!
